Scott D. Isaacs, MD, is a board-certified endocrinologist, obesity medicine specialist and medical director at Atlanta Endocrine Associates. Since 1998, Dr. Isaacs has focused his medical practice on endocrinology and medical weight loss. He’s treated thousands of patients successfully and helped them lose weight at his practice in Atlanta, Georgia. His expertise and unique hormone-focused approaches to weight loss make Dr. Isaacs is a valuable source of innovative information and insight.
Dr. Isaacs attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine and continued for residency and fellowship in Endocrinology, Lipids, Diabetes, and Metabolism. He currently serves as a clinical faculty member at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Isaacs has published research on diabetes, thyroid disorders, fatty liver disease and obesity in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Isaacs is a past president of the Georgia Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and currently serves AACE on a national level. He’s also a past president of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Diabetes Association.
